CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
Southeast Asian scholars and graduate students based in and affiliated with research and academic institutions in Southeast Asia are invited to apply to the SOUTHEAST ASIAN STUDIES REGIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM (SEASREP) GRANTS:

1 Language Training Grant: supports the study of a Southeast Asian national or local language other than one’s own in a recognized language training institute in the region (outside one’s country).

2 Luisa Mallari Fellowship for M.A. and Ph.D. Research in Southeast Asian Studies: supports library or field research on a Southeast Asian country other than one’s own, on a comparative topic involving two or more Southeast Asian countries, or a regional theme; full Ph.D. study in a university in Southeast Asia (outside one’s country).

3 Comparative and Collaborative Research Grant: supports research that deals with two or more countries chosen for their similarities or contrasts; projects that involves participation of scholars from different countries in Southeast Asia and across various disciplines in the humanities and social sciences; workshop and conferences on particular theme or aspect of Southeast Asian studies; and visiting lecturers from within the region.
