Stipends
Non-Eu nationals:
Excellent students from Non-EU-Countries are supported in their application for an individual Erasmus Mundus stipend by the European Commission. For this kind of stipends only participants of Erasmus Mundus Masters programmes can apply. This programme is expected to be granted a pool of 24 stipends with 12 stipends for nationals from Non-EU countries in general, and 12 stipends for Asian nationals. These 12 Asian stipends are: 6 stipends for Indian nationals; 1 stipend for a Chinese national, 1 stipend for a Malaysian national, 1 stipend for a Thai national, and 3 stipends for nationals from other Asian countries like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma/Myanmar, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka or Vietnam. Each stipend is 42,000 euro to cover expenses for the whole study programme. Please indicate in the application form whether you would like to apply for an Erasmus Mundus stipend. The Board of Studies for this Erasmus Mundus Masters makes a prioritized list and organises the application to the European Commission who decides on the grants.

Definition:
Eligible beneficiaries for an Erasmus Mundus stipend: Third-country graduate students who is a national of a third country other than those from EEA-EFTA states and candidate countries for accession to the European Union; who has already obtained a first higher education degree; who is not resident of any of the Member States or the participating countries; who has not carried out his or her main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the Member States or the participating countries; and who has been accepted to register or is registered in an Erasmus Mundus Masters Course.
EU-nationals:
EU nationals can apply for Erasmus Socrates stipends for the last year of this Masters. Information and assistance on the Erasmus Socrates stipends will be given at the University of Aarhus after course start. The stipend is about 150 euro per month. Furthermore, each EU country has different national stipends which may be applied for on an individual level.
Scholarships
The EU Commission grants scholarships to non-EU national scholars, to carry out teaching and research assignments and scholarly work in the institutions participating in this Erasmus Mundus Masters course.
There are three scholarships for non-EU candidates in general.
The grant agreement for scholarships breaks down as follows:
3 month x 4,000 euro plus 1,000 euro as a fixed amount. If the period is more than three month no more than 13,000 euro will be paid.

The lengh of a scholarship is normally 3 months, but can be more or less. Please indicate period.
